Portal and instance entrance markers — do these show undiscovered ones

Blunt version: do instance entrance and portal markers show entrances I haven't found yet, or only the ones already on my map?
If it's the former that's a genuine content-finding tool for a new player. If it's the latter it's decoration.

Geschlossenes ThemaUndiscovered. That's the point of it. It's how I found half the expedition doors in the first week instead of flying in circles reading a wiki tab.
That's the answer I wanted, buying.
Worth knowing some entrances are one-way or gated behind quests, so the marker can point at a door you can't open yet. Not broken, just gated.
Noted, won't blame the overlay when that happens.
Also stacks with dungeon boss markers once you're inside, so the pull path is visible before it's on you.
Slightly niche though. If you already know every door, the marker is dead weight and it's another toggle to keep clean.
New player, so it's the opposite of dead weight for me.
