External or internal — does this inject into the game at all

Trying to work out the architecture before I commit, because it changes how much I care. If it's injecting a DLL into the Aion 2 process then it's in the same memory space as NCGuard and that's a different risk profile than an overlay sitting outside drawing boxes.

Does the aimbot also need injection to move the mouse, or does it just send input?

Overlay draws on top, aim sends input. No DLL in the process. That's the whole point of the design and it's why the setup asks for the BIOS stuff rather than asking you to disable antivirus and pray.

"Outside the process" doesn't mean invisible, before anyone reads too much into it. It means fewer things for the anti-cheat to walk into, not zero.

That's roughly what I assumed, appreciate the honesty instead of "100% safe".

Practical upshot: you can run it alongside other stuff without a DLL fight, and a crash in the overlay doesn't take the game down with it. That's the part I actually care about.

Also means no "inject failed, relaunch as admin" circus every patch. External loaders just start.

Sold on the architecture side then. Ordering tonight.
