ESP is painting my own party — how do the ignore filters actually behave

Running with a fixed group, Cleric main. The whole screen is boxes because my own party is lit up same as everyone else, and "ignore friendly faction" obviously doesn't help when we're the same faction as half the zone.

There's an ignore same party / alliance option. Does that fully remove them, and does it also stop aim from dragging to them?

Party option removes them from ESP and yes it stops aim pulling. Alliance one is separate and does the same for the wider group.

Good, that's the pair I wanted.

Careful with alliance though. In a big fight you lose sight of people you're meant to be healing and suddenly you're healing by memory.

That's sort of the point, I know where my group is.

Until you don't. Try party-only first and leave alliance on.

Compromise: alliance on, but give them their own dull colour at low opacity so they're background, not absent. Takes two seconds in the colour menu.

Dull colour for alliance and full ignore for party. That's the setup, cheers.
